This policy is short because we collect very little. It is split into two parts: what the website knows about you, and what the DataRoles platform knows about your data. The second part is the short one.

::Website and Online Dashboard

The DataRoles website and dashboard store the minimum needed to run your account and provide support. That is the complete list:

That is everything. We run no analytics on this website. No tracking scripts. No advertising pixels. No third-party cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond a session cookie.

We do not store your payment method details, just your billing history and what you were billed for.

Internal reporting is limited to account counts, account status, the number of paid concurrent instances, and account value at a given time. We do not use user-level analytics. Account details are encrypted at rest. The email address used for login and support is hashed at rest, so it is not stored in plain form.

::The DataRoles Platform

We do not see, store, access, or process any data that passes through your DataRoles instance. This is not a policy. It's a core feature of our data sovereignty-first platform.

DataRoles runs on your infrastructure. Your data stays on your infrastructure. The platform does not send data, metadata, schemas, table names, column names, row counts, or any information about your data back to us. There is no usage telemetry and no data collection from your instance(s).

The platform performs a licence activation and validation process to confirm the licence is valid and has not been tampered with. This uses a machine fingerprint for licence binding. The fingerprint is stored encrypted at rest and is not used for analytics, tracking, or product telemetry.

CLI activation uses a one-time access token generated during login. The token is valid for 2 hours or until the CLI instance is activated, whichever comes first. Once used or expired, the token is gone.

For secure air-gapped and zero-trust environments, this fingerprint validation can be handled internally. The exact fingerprint inputs are only discussed for high-security deployments and can be tailored to the client's requirements.

The only thing we provide to your instance is the licence needed to run. For true air-gapped deployments, licence handling can be managed client-side.

::Client Identity

We will never reveal the name, brand, or identity of any client or installation unless there is written mutual consent from both sides, reviewed annually.

All client references, including case studies, testimonials, and public mentions, are anonymous by default for privacy and security reasons. A client will only be named if both DataQueues Inc. (DataRoles is a DataQueues Inc. product) and the client agree in writing, and that agreement is reviewed every year. Either side can withdraw consent at any renewal.

This applies to all channels: the website, social media, press, investor materials, and any other public or private communication.

::Third Parties

We do not sell, share, or provide your data to any third party. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking on this website or in the platform. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not store your payment details.

::Email

We use your email for login, support, and product updates. You can unsubscribe from product updates at any time. We will never send third-party marketing email.

::Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Contact support@DataRoles.ai and we will delete everything within 30 days.

::Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes are communicated by email to account holders.
